Our S.M.A.R.T. series orthotics serve a dual purpose: 1) for MAINTENANCE care/support once the curves have been successfully rehabilitated using traction and exercise, and 2) For passive spinal REMODELING as an alternative treatment method for those patients who can’t (or won’t) perform more effective methods of extension traction. Cervical and Lumbar blocks are used to reinforce the normal lordotic curves. Thoracic block is used to reduce excessive thoracic kyphosis.

Our new layered design allows for fulcrum height to be easily adjusted and eliminates the need for doctors to keep multiple size blocks in stock.. .Simply determine a comfortable starting height for your patient and allow them to work up to 15-20 minutes of daily use. Once the patient is tolerating the device well, you can increase the corrective force slightly by adding another spacer to increase the wedge height.
