Purpose: Used primarily to help address lumbar hypolordosis. Provides support for the normal lumbar lordosis by encouraging proper  sitting posture. Simple uncovered foam wedge tilts pelvis forward slightly to reinforce the lumbar lordosis. For use in car or office. Also frequently used to tilt the pelvis forward during lumbar extension traction to further reinforce the lordosis.

Comments: Inexpensive. Effective. Helps prevent slumping of the lumbar spine while seatted into flexion postures (hypolordosis). Encourage patients to use for short periods each day until they regain enough strength to sit properly all day. Made of firm, durable, open cell foam.  UNCOVERED.
